Our Story
Her Chosen Village ™ was born from real sisterhood—one built on timing, trust, and the kind of connection that feels like home.
It started with five women. Strangers at first.
But life had a way of weaving us together—through shared seasons, brave choices, and a longing to be seen and understood.
Two of us met over a decade ago, bonding through our sons and a shared love of nature. Years later, two more crossed paths online while exploring the same enrichment program for their kids. What began as a simple exchange quickly blossomed into a meaningful friendship. Not long after, a fifth heart was drawn in by the warmth and connection already blooming—something she longed for not just for herself, but for her family.
Without planning it, we all found each other—and something beautiful began to grow.
What started out for our kids, turned into something unexpected:
We built a village for ourselves.
We didn’t set out to build a village—we just kept showing up for each other and for life. We cried. We laughed (loudly and often). We held space for each other’s stories, struggles, and breakthroughs. Vulnerability felt safe. Trust came easy. And love showed up in the everyday ways we supported, celebrated, and stood beside one another.
Before long, it was clear: we weren’t just friends. We were family— chosen family.
From our book club adventures to birthday celebrations, workouts, vacations, and cozy nights just hanging out—every time we gathered, women around us would say:
“You’re so lucky to have each other.”
“I wish I had friends like you.”
We heard it so often that one day, one of us finally said:
Why not build it?
Why not create a space where more women—especially in this powerful season of life—can feel seen, supported, and truly connected?
And just like that, Her Chosen Village ™ was born.
